Confederations Cup: Bravo chasing glory

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will be in action tomorrow in the Confederations Cup final in Saint Petersburg.

The 32-year-old was the hero of their semi-final victory over Portugal, saving three penalties in succession in a dramatic shoot-out.

They now face Germany on Sunday in St. Petersburg after Joachim Low’s side beat Mexico 4-1 in the other semi-final.

Both sides are vying to win the trophy for the first time.

In fact, Chile are bidding to win their third major international tournament in three years after their Copa America triumphs in 2015 and 2016.

"We are from a country that might not be used to these kind of situations," Bravo said of Sunday's final.

"So, by playing football, we have the chance to make our people happy so they can forget about their problems. That's the most beautiful thing of all."

Kick-off is at 7pm BST (9pm local time), with ITV showing full coverage from 6.30pm.

Predicted lineups:

Chile: Claudio Bravo; Mauricio Isla, Gary Medel, Gonzalo Jara, Jean Beausejour; Pablo Hernandez, Marcelo Diaz, Charles Aranguiz, Arturo Vidal; Eduardo Vargas, Alexis Sanchez.

Germany: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen; Matthias Ginter, Antonio Rudiger, Niklas Sule; Joshua Kimmich, Sebastian Rudy, Leon Goretzka, Jonas Hector; Lars Stindl, Julian Draxler; Timo Werner
